Antique Details & Modern Romance Collide in Historical Mansion Styled Shoot featured by BAJAN WED

Glen Foerd is a stately, historic mansion situated alongside the Delaware River in Philadelphia, PA. It was the location for Writer and Beloved Photography, Kassandra Ortiz's, dreamy and poetic "Tenderly" styled shoot. Bajan Wed, a fine art wedding publication specializing in romantic destinations, fell in love with the photos and featured the styled shoot in a recent blog post.

"It was inspired by the stately and historic features of Glen Foerd and the charming ways old world style can inspire romantic aesthetics in modern times," Ortiz said.

When Kassandra came to our studio to choose dresses to feature in the shoot, she immediately gravitated to the Cora and Dilara styles. Both are romantic, off-the-shoulder, A-line styles that are reminiscent of the princess dresses you envisioned as a child. The soft coral undertones of the Cora style and whimsical ruffles down the train paired perfectly with the soft pink palette and vivid greenery. Dilara, made with sequined lace, subtly shimmered against the original historic fixtures of the mansion— the perfect juxtaposition between old and new.

P.S. Calling all PA brides! Another special part of this shoot is that most of the vendors are Pennsylvania businesses! Plan your wedding and support local!
