Crystal beading, embroidery, and tulle hand stitched to a sheer nude tulle base were used to represent the natural deterioration of organic material as well as symbolize the artificial world being overcome by the enormity of nature. Several hand crafted spiders and insects were added to reiterate the theme. Decomposing Alice can be interpreted as the earth reclaiming its territory despite mankind.
